Our Mission
We aim to offer a balance against practitioners of the dark arts of law and so achieve fair outcomes for clients. This is about fairness in specific points and attaining justice in general. The English and Welsh legal system, using the common law, is the epitome of an adversarial legal system. It is the refined, civilized way of battling, by words, evidence and law, as a modern version of the old idea of people (or their substitute champions) actually fighting each other, often to the death, to settle legal arguments. That 'trial by combat' has evolved into 'trial by words' while keeping the adversarial spirit.Obviously, you must have some kind of legal case or defence to stand a chance of winning, but it is also clear that the presentation of a case can be as important as the content of it.
